Milk Is Beneficial To Brain Health

The benefits of antioxidants are well-known. They protect the tissues against the damaging action of various molecules. Glutathione, a powerful antioxidant, is one of such protective molecules.  Glutathione helps to prevent such diseases as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

Drinking milk every day, we increase the levels of glutathione in the brain and consequently, protect the nerve tissue from the damage. The results of the study were published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. However, the authors of the study say that only few volunteers drank the recommended 3 servings of milk a day.
